Amunet S. is a solo Hybrid Recording Artist, Veteran DJ, and all around Multi-Medium artist based in New York As a singer her most recent exploits include a live performance at the legendary <<Fabric UK>>, <<Le Poisson Rouge>>, and <<Output>>. She also performed live as the lead singer for Jaded Lover (previous band), in clubs throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Amunet left the band a few years ago to pursue a solo career, but quickly became involved in a string of collaborations with Kate Simko, Tevo Howard and the duo, “Slumber” (Oona Dahl and Amber Cox). These collabs propelled her to get signed to Sasha’s Last Night on Earth imprint, Fabric/Houndstooth, The Vinyl Factory and Motek. Kate and Amunet’s “All Heart” – a Chicago House floor-stomper – was originally released on the "Save Fabric" compilation, receiving support from Roger Sanchez and Terry Francis, as well as a remix by Matt Tolfrey and Huxley which was re-released via Leftroom. On the cinema front, her music video for Slumber’s, "Temple,” is a haunting and thought provoking piece, solidifying her as a formidable songwriter and performer in the music industry at-large. The video can be viewed now via Deep House Amsterdam on YouTube. Read more about the birth of it here.
As a producer and engineer herself, 2023 will be a pivotal time as Amunet turns away from collaborating and prepares to release her long awaited solo material.
